The Paragano Story - Three Generations of Growth and Prosperity
Vincent Paragano formed Vincent Paragano and Sons in the 1950s, a family-owned and operated, highly respected custom home building company. They specialized in masonry, carpentry and residential home construction.

After taking over the family business following his father's death, Nazario (N. Larry Paragano, Sr.) guided the company in the 1960s in the purchase, development, building and selling of over 500 homes. In this residential heyday, the company, now called Paragano Building Corporation, constructed over 20 homes a year for an elite clientele.

It was during the late 1960s that Nazario amended the focus of the company to include commercial development, specifically industrial and multi-family residential properties. This foray into commercial property management marked the beginning of what would ultimately become the main focus of the company.

Throughout the 1970s, Paragano purchased, developed and/or renovated a number of commercial properties, many of which are still in the portfolio today. By the mid-1980s, Paragano Enterprises had evolved into a full-service commercial development, investment and property management company. Nearly 600,000 square feet of office, industrial and retail space had been purchased, managed and/or renovated.

Nazario created N.L. Paragano Associates by transferring ownership of several commercial properties to his children. In 1983, his oldest son, Vincent, an accomplished attorney, took on the responsibility of the day-to-day operations, as well as its legal matters. N. Larry Jr., Nazario's third son, joined in 1987 and after being trained in all aspects of the business, eventually took over as president when his father stepped down in 1990. Paragano Associates now manages the entire Paragano portfolio, which totals over 1.5 million square feet of office, retail and industrial space.

The Paragano Organization continues to grow and in 1998, Paragano Construction Services, L.L.C., a subsidiary of N.L. Paragano Associates, was formed to specialize in turnkey construction management and general contracting services to tenants and facility owners. It has become one of the fastest growing third-party construction firms in New Jersey and is quickly gaining national recognition.

Built on the history and reputation of their grandfather, the Paraganos continue the fine tradition of a family-owned and operated company that is still committed to providing quality, service and value to their clients.
